Giambatista Valli will be unveiling his Love Collection designs for the first time on the catwalk. Timeless creations that meld the icons of bridal fashion with the unmatched elegance of his Maison.

“When I make a dress, I leave a sort of free space within it, to allow the personality of whoever wears it to come through and make it her own.”

Giambatista Valli, born in Rome, launched his eponymous brand in 2005 in Paris, chasing his dream to create a veritable “Maison de Haute Couture” and prêt-à-porter collections that would bring all the magnificence of the Eternal City and the free spirit of the City of Light.

His designs are a fusion of spontaneity and the sophisticated, simplicity and the extraordinary, to forge a unique DNA that appeals to women of all ages who are free, nomadic, ingenious, sensual and passionate.

With draped muslin, lace ruffles and silk organza, his creations range from the shortest silhouettes to evening gowns and tailored suits.

The Love Collection bridal line from Giambatista Valli, unveiled in 2021 after designing wedding dresses for some of his most special clients, reflects the house's delicately romantic essence, feminine yet innovative.

Love Collection celebrates one of the most joyful moments of life. And it does so with designs inspired by eternal, timeless and natural fashion that bring a new approach to the world of luxury and beauty. Refined materials and elegant details in impeccably crafted garments that blend emblematic styles and extraordinary designs with the exquisiteness of the Maison Valli.
“Barcelona is the world capital of bridal fashion and staging a catwalk here is the natural evolution of my Love Collections, as it gives me a great opportunity to convey my vision on the best stage possible.”
Giambattista Valli, designer of haute couture and ready-to-wear
“It’s a great privilege to be able to welcome one of the most beloved haute couture and international fashion firms. His participation will strategically position Barcelona as a destination for haute couture brands beyond Paris.”
Albasarí Caro, director of BBFW.
