BARCELONA BRIDAL NIGHT
STÉPHANE ROLLAND
In his Spanish debut, the French couturier surrounds himself with young talent and captivates with a spectacular fusion of fashion, art, music and poetry
BARCELONA BRIDAL NIGHT
"Bridal fashion speaks of hope, of joy, and of life"
French designer Stéphane Rolland dazzled at the tenth edition of the Barcelona Bridal Night gala with a production of profound emotional intensity, conceived as a fusion of haute couture, music, art and poetry — marking his very first runway show in Spain. The presentation paid tribute to life, love, and the generous passing of knowledge and craft to new generations.
To this end, the Stéphane Rolland maison involved three renowned fashion design schools from the Catalan capital, the Young Symphony Orchestra of Barcelona (JOBS), and the BBFW trade show itself in what the house described as “a humanist project that brings together talents”.
Over 1,000 guests, 80 looks, and fashion's finest: Nieves Álvarez, Ariadna Gutiérrez and Laura Sánchez
The designer presented a collection of 80 pieces to an audience of over a thousand guests, including his new bridal collection alongside a curated selection of iconic haute couture gowns from throughout his career. Nieves Álvarez, a longtime muse of the French master, walked alongside Latin American supermodel Ariadna Gutiérrez and models Laura Sánchez, Davinia Pelegrí, Marta Ortiz, Mercedes Muñoz, Madeleine Hjort and Bárbara García.
The designs were defined by structured volumes, precise cuts and sculptural silhouettes, set within a palette dominated by bridal white, with red and black reserved for gala and red-carpet proposals — reaffirming the couturier’s creative identity and his vision of fashion as architecture applied to the body.
