Ana Torres

ANA TORRES's Spring/Summer 2018 collection takes its inspiration from the romanticism of the bolero, which is used to express feelings of either love or indifference.

The bolero is music, poetry, and feeling; it is danced with sensitivity, listened to with nostalgia, and drunk with happiness. There is no need to define it; we all carry it in our souls, and it is precisely these emotions that overtake us in contemplating Ana Torres's designs. Handcrafted in her studio in Córdoba with extreme refinement, they are composed of a multitude of couture details: decorated with 3D flowers embroidered like jewels, golden applications of fil coupé, and silks, muslins, and jacquards together with delicate pleats that surround the woman's body and create a harmonious balance among makeup tones, lavender, gold, and jade green.
